Challenge Power Transmission (Shijiazhuang) Ltd was established in 1998 and is a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) and acts as the Challenge regional logistics centre in Hebei province.
The Challenge Group have been involved in the production of power transmission in Shijiazhuang since 1981 when the founder, Bill Cody, set up the very first liaison office to monitor production of various engineering parts in the city.
More than three decades later Challenge SHZ is still there; manufacturing and controlling the production of the Challenge ironware range including all the taper bore products, pulleys, shaft fixings, couplings, sprockets etc.
Challenge SHZ is managed by Francis Tian who first worked with Bill Cody in 1981 as a young quality control engineer. Between 2005 and 2008 the expanding company built 3 large new warehouses to accommodate the buffer stock needed for increasing shipments to Challenge overseas distribution centres and customers.
Challenge SHZ is fully ISO9001 accredited and employs best business practices based on UK manufacturing guidelines.
