The Challenge Group have been involved in the production of power transmission in Shijiazhuang since 1980 when the founder, Bill Cody, set up the very first liaison office to monitor production of various engineering parts in the city. 27 years later Challenge now own Challenge Power Transmission (SHZ) Ltd manufacturing and controlling the production of the Challenge Ironware Range including all the taper bore products, pulleys, shaft fixings, couplings, sprockets etc. The company is managed by Francis Tian who first worked with Bill in 1981 as a young quality control engineer. In 2005 we built 2 new large warehouses holding the buffer stock for shipment to Challenge overseas distribution centres. This is managed using Sage stock control and integrated software. Access to the software is on-line from all overseas locations (password required). A further warehouse is planned for 2008 to cope with increasing demand. |
